  • On December 12, 2011, Carlo Ponti will lead Ennio Morricone's celebrated Rome Sinfonietta Orchestra in a concert honoring his late father, Carlo Ponti, Sr. The concert will feature performances of the late producer's film scores composed by Maurice Jarre, Armando Trovajoli, Nino Rota and will conclude with Tchaikovsky's Fourth Symphony - one of Ponti, Sr.'s favorite orchestral works. This special event will take place in Rome's Sala Sinopoli and will also feature narrated segments by Carlo's brother Edoardo Ponti.
